  • Early Muzzleloader: Sept. 22 thru Oct. 5, 2008

  • Youth and Disability: Sept. 13 thru Sept. 21, 2008

  • Archery: Sept. 22 thru Dec. 31, 2008

  • Early Firearms (DMU 19 only): Oct. 11 - Oct.19, 2008

  • Regular Firearms: Dec. 3 - Dec. 14, 2008

  • Firearms Extended Whitetail Antlerless Season: Jan.1 thru Jan.4, 2009 ( Open for Units 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 19 only)

  • Archery Extended Whitetail Antlerless Season (DMU 19 only): Jan. 5 thru Jan. 31, 2009

  • Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

Large whitetail deer are easily found in the area surrounding Glen Elder which is made up of prime wildlife habitat. 

Easily accessible to Waconda Lake's expansive 13,000 acres of  wildlife area, the environment around Glen Elder and the lake offer excellent deer hunting opportunities.  This, along with thousands of acres of private land exclusive to our service, provides our guests a variety of hunting areas.

Excellent sources of food, including grains and alfalfa make for trophy deer.  All hunts follow the guidelines set by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks for seasons, limits, and regulations. Alcohol will not be consumed immediately prior to or during any hunt while in the field. Our  goal is to keep your hunt safe!

Cost

  • $2000 for a 5 day hunt (bow or gun)

  • $2,700 for a 10 day (bow or gun)

  • $1,500 for a 10 day  (muzzleloader)

Not Included

  • KS Non-Resident License - $71.00

  • Deer Hunting Permit - $320.00

  • Food and Lodging
