2008 SEASON DATES

 

DUCKS, LATE ZONE

  • Season: Oct. 27 - Dec. 30 and Jan. 19 - 27, 2008

  • Daily bag limit: 5

  • Possession limit: Twice the daily bag

DUCK LIMITS

The daily bag limit for ducks is five. This bag may include no more than two scaup, two redheads, and two wood ducks. In addition, only one duck from the following group may be included in the daily bag: hen mallard, pintail, canvasback, or mottled duck. For example, if a pintail is taken, no hen mallard, mottled duck, or canvasback may be taken that day; if a hen mallard is taken, no pintail, mottled duck, or canvasback may be taken that day, and so forth. The daily bag may comprise five of any other duck, such as five mallard drakes, five teal, or five wigeon.
 

YOUTH WATERFOWL SEASONS

  • High Plains Zone: Sept. 29 - 30

  • Early Zone: Oct. 6 - 7

  • Late Zone: Oct. 20 - 21

  • Daily bag limit: Same as regular season

  • Possession limit: Same as regular season

CANADA GEESE

  • Season: Oct. 27 - 28 and Nov. 7 - Feb. 17, 2008

  • Area open: Statewide

  • Daily bag limit: 3

  • Possession limit: Twice the daily bag

WHITE-FRONTED GEESE

  • Season: Oct. 27 - 28 and Nov. 7 - Jan. 6, 2008 and Feb. 9 - 17, 2008

  • Area open: Statewide

  • Daily bag limit: 2

  • Possession limit: Twice the daily bag

LIGHT GEESE

  • Season: Oct. 27 - 28 and Nov. 7 - Feb. 17, 2008

  • Conservation Order: Feb. 17 - April 30, 2008

  • Area open: Statewide

  • Daily bag limit: 20

  • Possession limit: No possession limit
